Dawneesh completed his law degree from the Faculty of Law, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, and has built a litigation practice across various forums in the country, including the including the Supreme Court of India, High Courts, NCLT, NCLAT, APTEL, CERC, State Commission, NCDRC, RERA, DRT, DRAT, TDSAT, and Trial Courts, along with handling of arbitrations and mediations. He is an Advocate-on-Record before the Supreme Court of India and comes with valuable experience from his tenures at reputed law firms, organisations, and litigation chambers.
He handles matters pertaining to the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA), Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), Prevention of Corruption Act, Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, Passport Act, Insecticide Act, Essential Commodities Act, and Negotiable Instrument Act, along with having knowledge and experience in handling complex virtual digital asset (VDA) / crypto currency matters. He has worked on various landmark and high-profile matters before the Supreme Court, which include Gainbitcoin, Ram Temple, Data Localization, and Land Acquisition matters, to name a few.
Dawneesh is a member of the Delhi High Court Bar Association (DHCBA), a permanent member of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA), the Supreme Court Advocates on Record Association (SCAORA), and an affiliate partner of the Bharat Web3 Association (BWA).
